Northern Grads Kara and Dan Pigott Complete Bike Journey Across USA
Kara Pigott, NBC Class of 2004 and Dan Pigott, NBC Class of 2003 found a new way to spend a summer vacation. After 55 days, and close to 3,875 miles, the brother-sister pair returned to their home on Springfield-Meetinghouse Road in the Jobstown section of the township after a cross-country bike ride to raise awareness for a charitable foundation close to their hearts. Program Growth and Change at NBC Gains Momentum Through the Accreditation for Growth (AFG) Process
After a successful school year, NBC's self assessment continues to redefine school programs bringing rigor, relevance, and relationships into focus district-wide. Academic, Culture, Multiple and Diverse Paths to Graduation, and Essential Skills Committees in both the Middle School and the High School have been working throughout the school year toward developing action plans to accomplish the district's three strategic planning objectives.
