Motivational Speaker to Present at the PTSC Meeting on Thursday March 25th
Please join us for our next PTSC meeting, and bring the kids! We are happy to announce that the very popular Stand Tall Steve, a motivational speaker, will come and talk to parents and students alike about how to stay positive when things get tough. Please see the attached flyer and plan to join us for some much-needed laughter and inspiration.

The meeting will be held on Thursday, March 25th at 7:00 in the Middle School Cafetorium. Also on the agenda will be a short budget overview by Dr. Sarruda, which is very important in light of the cuts being proposed on the State level. As always, the Middle and High School administrators will be on hand to tell you what's going on in your student's school.

NBC Wrestler Wayne Stinson Captures Region 7 Championship and Makes Northern History!!
Congratulations to Wayne Stinson on his Region 7 Championship this weekend. Wayne becomes only the third wrestler in over 10 years to earn the title, and the first freshman wrestler to ever earn the distinction in the history of Northern Burlington. Improving his record to 31-4, Wayne had to beat 2 previous state qualifiers to win the gold. Wayne will continue the battle this weekend as he will compete in the State Championship in Atlantic City. NBC Varsity Wrestling Wins Liberty Division Title
When NBC Wrestlers beat RV 45 - 27 on February 3rd they also won the Liberty Division Championship!!
NBC Varsity Bowling Wins Liberty Division Title
Congratulations to the NBC Girls Varsity Bowling Team for Winning the Liberty Division Championship.
NBC's Thaddeus Richards Headed For Monmouth University
Senior football star, Thaddeus Richards, is joined by his parents, Cassandra and Rene, and Head Football Coach Jon Reising as he signs his letter of intent to attend Monmouth University next fall. Coach Reising: "Thaddeus is a talented athlete. He is a two-way starter for us and he is a strong team leader both on and off the field. We are all very proud." Congratulations Thaddeus!!
School Will Be In Session Wednesday April 7th, Thursday April 8th, and Friday April 9th
Please note that the Northern Burlington County Regional School District will be in session on Wednesday, April 7th, Thursday April 8th, and Friday April 9th to make-up for the emergency closings that resulted from the most recent snow storm.
Middle School Chorus Students Earn All South Jersey Honors
The Northern Middle School Chorus is pleased to announce that three of its very talented students performed on January 30th and 31st with the All South Jersey Junior High Chorus. These students auditioned for the All South Jersey High School Chorus in November and attended a number of weekend rehearsals in order to participate. Congratulations to Grace Hermesmann, Zachi Rodriguez and Leo Weismantel. Both Zachi and Grace performed for the second year in a row and Leo was awarded the second highest score for voice.
Northern's Middle School Students 'Pay It Forward'
In observance of Martin Luther King’s Day, Northern Middle School students, under the guidance of Northern PTSC, the GIVING club and STAT, remembered Dr. King’s great works by spending the day conducting random acts of kindness and service. Students shared their acts of kindness upon their return to school on January 19th. Acts of Kindness and service included helping out at area soup kitchens, helping out at local retirement communities, supporting incoming Haitian refugees housed at McGuire AFB and assistanting children with special needs in preparation for the Special Olympics. Northern Middle School students submitted over 500 essays describing their good deeds. Parent can read highlights of the students’ good work in the spring edition of PAW prints, Northern Middle School’s literary magazine.
Northern Burlington County Regional School District Achieves Accreditation!!
Northern Burlington County Regional High School District is proud to announce that it has been awarded Accreditation by the Middle State Association (MSA) through December 1, 2016. It has been accredited for Grades 7 -12 by the Commission on Secondary Schools of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. Northern Burlington County Regional School District is seen as an educational organization that meets all MSA Standards for Accreditation, adheres to applicable MSA policies, and meets the requirements of the self-study protocol used. “Northern Burlington County Regional School District is to be congratulated for having completed the rigorous and demanding accreditation review process successfully,” said Dr. Henry G. Cram, Executive Director of the Commission on Secondary Schools. “By meeting the standards of the Association, and by having established a comprehensive and challenging strategic plan to improve targeted areas of student performance.” NBCRSD will continue to meet these standards of excellence in order to meet the needs of its community and students. Northern Burlington Regional High School’s Senior, Brandi France, receives the New Jersey Rising Scholars Student Recognition Award
Northern Burlington Regional High School is proud to announce that Brandi France (a senior) has been selected as one of fifty-six recipients of the 2009 New Jersey Rising Scholars Student Recognition Award. She was honored on Sunday, November 15, 2009, at a ceremony which recognized students for their academic excellence. This award will enable her to be eligible for one of several one thousand dollar HBCU (Historically Black Colleges and Universities) Rising Scholar Fund Scholarships; the winners will be selected in the Spring of 2010. NBRHS would like to congratulate her on such a success!
